Yay! 200 and counting !!

Celebration time folks as we, at DQ, welcome our 200th member!!

Time for a group hug, a happy dance and a giveaway !

Just imagine the possibilities...Throw in some hot pink and fashion a cozy girl quilt...or mix in some earth colours and engineer a man quilt..or tumble in some brights or jungle prints and whip up an easy peekaboo block quilt for a young man or child...or...

  2. I would use this fabric for making a 'hide in the woods' quilt for children with some green leaf fabric as acombo and blacka s acombo, challenging to design but fun to use. Cant imagine what the children will do with it!

    As for the fabric...have been wanting to make a convergence quilt with the jungle on one end and blue skies and butterflies on the opposite! This is just what I need!

    As for how I shall use the fabric, I have long planned a quilt with a dense scary jungle on one side and beautiful blue skies, flowers and butterflies on the other! This is the perfect fabric for it...

  5. Congrats for reaching 200!!!!!!!I would use this fabric for making a jungle quilt for my grand son and with some animals on it
    I would like to get the bonus point by dedicating the song

  6. I would cut up and use in three different quilts the zebra stripes and fire engine reds , the leopard print and sunny yellows, and the jungle prints n solids in khaki and camouflage colours.

    Will figure out who gets them later !!

    dont know how to dedicate a song (link etc ), but the tune in my head is that old one ....
    oh oh here she comes, watch out boy she'll chew you up, oh oh here she comes , she's a man-eater

    anyone remember that one ( in case of Dq's fabric eater !!)

  7. I'd use it to make many make-up bags with bright solids and bright zippers...Xmas and New Year Gifts !

  8. Cushion covers! That is what I'd use it pairing it with coordinating solids and suitable trimming :)
